New Single from Ghostboyrj, "State of Being feat Snackz / Free Me feat Joey Rose & Sport Mathews" Give Sounds of Triumph & Liberation 

Second double single features Snackz, Joey Rose and Sport Mathews, and gives listeners a clearer picture of what to expect when the album arrives in January

TORONTO, ON, [11/13/2026]: Toronto artist Ghostboyrj has released "State of Being / Free Me," the second two-track single from his upcoming album State of Being, arriving this January via GHO$TOWN RECORD$. The title track features Snackz and is produced by Reazhun, while "Free Me" features Joey Rose and Sport Mathews and is produced by Ghostboyrj. In contrast to the darker tone of the first single, "Fade Away / Ceremony," this release is noticeably brighter in sound, capturing feelings of triumph and liberation.

"State of Being" (feat. Snackz), produced by Reazhun: The title track sets the tone for the whole project. It speaks to owning your story, trusting the light you carry, and understanding exactly where you stand in the game. Built around a confident, anthemic hook, it is a statement of purpose that looks outward as well as inward, carrying the torch for the people around you.

"Free Me" (feat. Joey Rose & Sport Mathews), produced by Ghostboyrj : A sharp, rhythm-driven record built on wordplay and momentum, "Free Me" is about breaking away from outside expectations and moving on your own terms.

Together, the songs are rooted in two ideas: the triumph that comes from understanding where your talents lie within the grander ecosystem, and the liberation that comes from freeing yourself from conventional means of growth.

State of Being follows Ghostboyrj's previous project, State of Mind, which focused on internal thought and introspection. This time, those ideas turn outward. The title describes both the subject of the record and its structure: each song captures a different emotional, social or psychological state, moving between introspection and celebration, isolation and community, pressure and freedom, and ambition and contentment. Track titles such as "Free Me," "Sense of Self," "Speak Life," "Stress Free," "Stargazing," "Ceremony" and "Fade Away" reflect an album concerned with how an individual understands themselves while navigating the world around them. The album also features collaborations with Forest N/A, BKRSCLB's Gritfall and Snackz, among others.
