About GHO$TOWN RECORD$ (GTR)

GHO$TOWN RECORD$ is a Toronto-based independent music collective, label, and creative hub built on collaboration, mentorship, and innovation. Founded by artists for artists, GTR brings together producers, rappers, vocalists, and visual creators to push the boundaries of Hip Hop, Soul, and experimental music.

Through weekly studio sessions, live events, and community-driven projects, GTR creates spaces where emerging and established artists can connect, learn, and build lasting creative relationships. Each release reflects the collective’s mission — to amplify underrepresented voices and celebrate Toronto’s evolving underground sound.

Since its inception, GTR has partnered with URBNET Records to distribute its music physically and digitally, helping bridge local talent to national and international audiences. The team has produced standout compilations, including Smoke Sumn Radio Vol. 1, State of Mind Deluxe, and the upcoming debut collective release GTR Presents: Loop Pack (dropping October 31, 2025).

With members spanning producers like Ghostboyrj, Neu Sun, celinee, Heartbeatz, and Jake Etc, and artists such as JB Matches, Saint, PudgeGawd, Crooks and Kyle Genesis, GTR embodies the energy of collaboration that defines Toronto’s underground. Their ongoing series “GTR Fridays” has built momentum toward Loop Pack, releasing singles like X Academy and Do Me Like That.

GTR is more than a label — it’s a movement. A creative family redefining what independent artistry looks like in Canada through culture, storytelling, and sound.
