Released on the project's one-year anniversary, the expanded version adds two new inclusions and gives listeners more of the album's world as a thank-you for a year of support.

  • "Life Is What You Make It" (Reimagined): The title track is re-produced by Ghostboyrj, giving the album's central idea a new sonic perspective while keeping the reflective spirit of the original.

About the Project

Life Is What You Make It is a day in the life, unfiltered and honest. From the moment the alarm rings in "Goodmorning," the project moves through the full spectrum of human emotion: pain, worry, indifference, happiness and hope. Each track captures a fleeting moment, turning everyday experiences into something reflective and lasting. Rather than following a traditional album arc, it mirrors lived experience, letting listeners find themselves in different emotional states along the way.

The deluxe edition deepens that core message: life is shaped in real time, and meaning is found in how we choose to move through it.

Joey Rose is a multi-genre artist blending hip-hop with melodic R&B, creating music that is as emotionally raw as it is sonically fluid.
